In the mornings our Basoa restaurant becomes (probably) the most spectacular buffet breakfast you’ve ever seen. And not because we say so, or because of the wonderful views you can admire from our floor-to-ceiling windows, but because our guests say so: varied, excellent, fresh produce, quality, complete, mountain views…
We have live cooking where our chefs prepare dishes to order. Juice is natural (straight from the juicer), fruit is fresh, pastries freshly baked, waffles, Iberian cold cuts and much more. But it doesn’t end there — we also offer healthy options, homemade smoothies, gluten-free choices and everything labelled with allergens.
The Brunch
We introduced the concept of brunch because gastronomy, as well as being delicious, should also be fun. And we have become one of Bilbao’s favourite brunches — and one of the most popular on social media, with more than 1 million views on Instagram and TikTok.
Our brunch is an extension of our famous breakfast with live cooking, enhanced with dishes from our restaurant menu such as sandwiches, mini burgers or healthy donuts, among others. All of this with the marvellous views from our restaurant and an ideal atmosphere for foodies, families, friends or couples.

RESTAURANT BASOA
The Basoa Restaurant at Spirit Hotel Gran Bilbao is inspired, as its name suggests (forest in Basque), by nature. With a gastronomic proposal that combines local tradition with international inspiration, leaving a lasting impression on every visitor.
The floor-to-ceiling windows offer impressive panoramic views of the green mountains surrounding Bilbao, and Basoa’s décor with its nature theme is inspired by the forests and natural beauty of our land. A quality gastronomic space where our menu fuses a wide range of international dishes with the roots of Basque cuisine.
Cafeteria
Our cafeteria also has that cosy atmosphere for a snack or a pintxo. If you don’t have much time for breakfast, it’s the perfect space. Enjoy the aroma and flavour of a good freshly made coffee.
