Small actions, big SPIRIT is the Spirit Hotels & Apartments movement that promotes change towards more responsible and supportive models. We want to show that businesses can contribute in the creation of better environments, and Spirit Hotels & Apartments does so by acting locally in order to generate a global impact.
Small actions, big SPIRIT encourages the well-being of those around us, seeking to transition towards more environmentally friendly tourism and creating a culture of sustainability that encourages everyone to become part of the change.
A philosophy that is based on and inspired by the SDGs, i.e. the Sustainable Development Goals agreed globally by United Nations, and that guides our work in the following strategic areas.

Spirit Hotels & Apartments’ purpose is to put people first, and we want to contribute to the well-being of those around us. It’s a cycle that starts from within, which is why our philosophy is WE ARE INSIDE.

Our sports sponsorships are key tools for personal and collective development, because, for us, sports values are also part of our day-to-day: effort, teamwork, self-improvement, self-discipline and ambition.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
At Spirit Hotels & Apartments we care about the impact our accommodation has on the environment. We are committed to doing everything we can, and we want you to be part of it. Not to brag but because we understand that respect, and social, human and sustainable commitment are part of our philosophy. It’s our way of leaving a mark, and if you feel the same way, you are one of us.
We took a critical look ar ourselves and realised that change has to star with ourselves. We are working on a change of model, towards a more eco-frienldy form of tourism, which promotes circular economy and protects biodiversity.

Governance
We want to encourage people to join this trend. Our ‘Small actions, big SPIRIT’ movement implies all the policies, actions, and processes through which our culture of sustainability guides and oversees us.
Solidarity is one of our core values, which marks our ethics and corporate responsibility. We believe we must give back to society some of what it give us, which we do through our Solidarity Partners program.
Solidarity partner
At Spirit Hotels&Apartments, every year, we choose solidarity partner for each of our hotels, either a local organisation or NGO, as part of our corporate social responsibility. Together we carry out an awareness and dissemination campaign to raise funds and showcase the cause behind their work.
Spirit Hotel Gran Bilbao
The cause we are supporting this year is the fight against lupus, and we will be doing so alongside ADELES Bizkaia.
Spirit Hotel Ciudad de Burgos
This year we are supporting PROSAME, that works to improve the quality of life of those with mental illness in the city of Burgos and its surroundings.
Spirit Hotel Benalmádena Beach
This year, our support goes to Fuensocial, which helps people with disabilities and mental disorders, or those at risk of developing them.
