How to get here
Spirit Hotel Gran Bilbao is the ideal hotel to discover Bilbao and its surroundings. Road access from the A8 is very convenient, making it easy to reach Santander, San Sebastián, the airport or other parts of the Basque Country.
The connection with the ferry terminal linking Bilbao with the United Kingdom and Ireland is straightforward by road, as is the cruise terminal at the Port of Bilbao. It only takes 20 minutes to get there.
For those travelling by car, we (probably) have the largest hotel car park in Bilbao, with 3 floors of private underground parking and 10 spaces with electric chargers.
By public transport, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, and both metro and tram stations nearby.

From the airport
Take the Bilbao – Airport A3247 Bizkaibus line. In 15 minutes you’ll be in Bilbao; get off at the Plaza Moyua stop. You can reach the hotel from Plaza Moyua by bus 77, direction Mina del Morro. This bus runs every 12 minutes on weekdays, every 20 minutes on Saturdays and every 25 minutes on public holidays.
Or, if you prefer, you can also get there by car in 15 minutes or by taxi.
By urban bus
Line 77: to go to the city centre (direction Peñascal) and to return (direction Mina del Morro).
Line 40: this line is only available to go from the hotel to the city centre.
By tram
Atxuri stop. Covers a large part of the city and is only a 12-minute walk away.
By Metro
The nearest stations are Casco Viejo or Santutxu.
